Supplies Needed:

Meister - Copies

Distortion - Circulator II
Open
a new image 600 x 250
Copy/Paste
your tube as a new layer
Duplicate
On
the Orginal,
Effects
- Muras Meister - Copies - Wallpaper (rotate) with the default settings
Duplicate
Copies layer
On
the top copies layer,
Adjust
- Blur - Radial Blur - Default Settings
Set
the blend mode to Screen
On
the bottom copies layer,
Effects
- VM Distortion - Circulator II
Ring
Width: 6
Y-Start:
94
Rotation:
195
Mode:

Duplicate
your tube again, twice
Move
the two bottom tubes, one to the left and one to the right
Drag
them below your radial blur layer
Set
the Opacity to about 60
Add
a small drop shadow to your tube
Select
your pen tool
Line
Style: Dashed
Width:
2
Foreground
color: A color from your tube
Background:
null
Holding
down your Shift key, draw out a few lines ( I did mine randomly)
Adjust
- Add/Remove Noise - Add Noise
-Random
-100%
-Monochrome
Checked
Drag
this layer under your tube layer
New
raster layer above tube layer
Flood
fill with color or gradient that matches your tube
Selections
- Select All
Selections
- Modify - Contract - 4
Hit
delete
Deselect
Add
Noise (same settings as above)
I
added a drop shadow to mine
Add
your name and copyright info.
To
make the avatar, I just opened a new image 150 x 180
I
copy merged my forum tag and pasted it as new layer on the new image,
And
added the border
Don't
forget to add your license info to your avatar!
