Lollipops and Dreams - PTU

This tutorial was written by Twilight on 8/9/12. Any similarities to any other tutorials is purely coincidental.  

NOTE: If you get confused at any time, you can use my tag for reference!

SUPPLIES:

Tube: I'm using the art of Keith Garvey. He will be opening his own store soon. You can find his site HERE

ScrapKit: I'm using a PTU kit called "Lollipops and Dreams" by Stu.

Font: I'm using Dancing Script OT

PLUGINS: penta.com - Jeans

Open a new image 700 x 700

Copy/Paste "CCS_E36" as a new layer

Copy/Paste "CCS_E30" as a new layer

Magic Wand - Select inside the frame

Selections - Modify - Expand - 4

Copy/Paste "CCS_P1" as a new layer under the frame

Selections - Invert - Delete

Copy/Paste your tube as a new layer

Arrange it inside the frame and hit delete

Selections - Invert

New Raster Layer

Flood fill this layer with a gradient with 3 colors from your kit/tube (if you do not know how, you can use any gradient :) )

I used these colors:

#fcaf43

#b80060

#009392

Effects - penta.com - Jeans with default settings

Deselect

Set the blend mode to screen

Copy/Paste "CCS_E3" as a new layer

Resize 80%

Move to the left side of tag

Copy/Paste "CCS_E33" as a new layer

Resize 60%

Place it in the center of the frame

Copy/Paste your tube again

Resize and add drop shadow

V&H: 0

Opacity: 100

Blur: 2

Color: Black

Copy/Paste "CCS_E25" as a new layer

Resize 80%

Image - Free Rotate - Rotate 15 degrees to the left

Drag it behind the bottom layer (see my tag)

Copy/Paste "CCS_E27" as a new layer

Resize 80%

Place over the bottom part of your tube

Copy/Paste "CCS_E3" as a new layer

Resize 80%

Move to the left side of tag

Copy/Paste "CCS_E26" as a new layer

Resize 50%

Drag behind the frame on the right side

Copy/Paste "CCS_E7" as a new layer

Resize it 80%

Put it in front of the bottom of the tree

Copy/Paste "CCS_E40" as a new layer

Resize 60%

Put it on the left side of and behind the cupcake

Copy/Paste "CCS_E2" as a new layer

Resize 60%

Move between the cupcake and the Dream wordart

Crop/Resize your tag

Add your name and copyright info and you're done! :)
