Sweet Emo - PTU

 

This tutorial was written by Twilight on 8/1/12. Any similarities to any other tutorials is purely coincidental.  

SUPPLIES NEED:

Tube: I am using a tube by Zlata M.  Please do NOT use her work unless you have the proper license to do so. You can buy it at PICS FOR DESIGN

ScrapKit: I am using a PTU Scrap Kit called "Sweet Emo" by Kristin. Buy it at Scraps With Attitude

Plugins Used:

 Xero - Bad Dream, Eye Candy 4000 - Gradient Glow

-Kristin - Sweet Emo 3 - Wordart Background

-Kristin - Sweet Emo 3 - Wire

-Kristin - Sweet Emo 3 - City

-Kristin - Sweet Emo 3 - Frame 3

-Kristin - Sweet Emo 3 - Paper 22

-Kristin - Sweet Emo 3 - Paper 8

-Kristin - Sweet Emo 3 - Star Trail

-Kristin - Sweet Emo 3 - Wordart

-Kristin - Sweet Emo 3 - Ribbon 2

-Kristin - Sweet Emo 3 - Rose

Kristin - Sweet Emo 3 - Boa

Open a new image 700 x 700

Copy/Paste "Kristin - Sweet Emo 3 - Wordart Background" as a new layer

Adjust - Add/Remove Noise - Add noise

~Gaussian - 100%- Monochrome Checked

Copy/Paste "Kristin - Sweet Emo 3 - Wire" as a new layer

Resize 80%

Copy/Paste "Kristin - Sweet Emo 3 - City" as a new layer

Resize 80% Twice and move up a little

Copy/Paste "Kristin - Sweet Emo 3 - Frame 3" as a new layer

Resize 80%

Magic Wand Tool - Select inside the left frame

Selections - Modify - Expand - 4

Copy/Paste a tube or close up  as a new layer under the frame

Arrange inside the frame

Selections - Invert - Hit Delete

Copy/Paste "Kristin - Sweet Emo 3 - Paper 22" as a new layer

Arrange under frame and tube

Hit Delete

Select None

On tube/close up I used Xero - Bad Dream with the default settings

On the smaller frame:

Magic Wand - Click inside the frame

Selections - Modify - Expand - 4

Copy/Paste "Kristin - Sweet Emo 3 - Paper 8" as a new layer

I resized mine 60% before I inverted and deleted

Selections - Invert  - Delete

Select None

I cropped my tag here :)

Copy/Paste your tube as a new layer

Resize and place in the center of the frame

Add a drop shadow:

Vertical and Horizontal: 0

Opacity: 100

Blur: 2

Color: Black

Copy/Paste "Kristin - Sweet Emo 3 - Star Trail" as a new layer

Resize 80%

And line it up with the bottom of the frame (it should be over your tube, unless you have a tube with legs!)

Copy/Paste "Kristin - Sweet Emo 3 - Wordart" as a new layer

Drag it under the tube

Resize 80%

Effects - Eye Candy 4000 - Gradient glow:

Glow Width: 3.00

Soft Corners: 25

Overall Opacity: 100

Color: White

I added a color stop a short distance from the first one, but that part's up to you :)

Add Drop shadow (same as above)

Copy/Paste "Kristin - Sweet Emo 3 - Ribbon 2" as a new layer

Resize 80% and place over the star trail

Add Drop Shadow (same as above)

Copy/Paste "Kristin - Sweet Emo 3 - Rose" as a new layer

Resize 60%

Image - Free Rotate - Right - 20 degrees

Put this on the left side of the frame

Copy/Paste "Kristin - Sweet Emo 3 - Boa" as a new layer

Resize 60%

Move in front of the bottom part of your tube (under might look better if your tube has legs!)

Copy/Paste "Kristin - Sweet Emo 3 - Skull 2" as a new layer

Resize 60% twice

Move to the bottom of the rose stem

Copy/Paste "Kristin - Sweet Emo 3 - Flame" as a new layer

Resize 70%

I dragged mine below the tube layer and lined it up with the bottom of the frame on the right side

Copy/Paste "Kristin - Sweet Emo 3 - Bunny" as a new layer

Resize 40%

Place it on the right side of the boa

Copy/Paste "Kristin - Sweet Emo 3 - Cupcake" as a new layer

Resize 60% twice

Drag it behind the the bunny and place it over the right corner of the frame

Copy/Paste "Kristin - Sweet Emo 3 - Pills" as a new layer

Resize 60% twice

Drag behind the bunny

Add Drop Shadow (same as above)

Copy/Paste "Kristin - Sweet Emo 3 - Bow 4" as a new layer

Resize 60% twice

Image - Free Rotate - Rotate Left 20 degrees

Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen

Add drop shadow

Copy/Paste "Kristin - Sweet Emo 3 - Goblet" as a new layer

Resize 40%

Drag it between the cupcake and the bunny

Copy/Paste "Kristin - Sweet Emo 3 - Butterfly 2" as a new layer

Resize 40%

Place it in the top right corner

Drag it below the cupcake

Drop Shadow

Copy/Paste "Kristin - Sweet Emo 3 - Candy 1" as a new layer

Resize 40%

Place in front of the bottom part of the cupcake

Drag it to the layer above the cupcake

Drop Shadow

Copy/Paste "Kristin - Sweet Emo 3 - Sparkles" as a new layer

I left it where it was, but if you don't like it there you don't have to do it :)

Crop and Resize your tag

Add your name and copyright info and you're done!
