FTU - Ed van der Linden - Starr Roller

This tutorial was written by Miranda on 6/16/14. Any similarities to any other tutorials is purely coincidental.

SUPPLIES:

Tube of Choice. I used the art of Ed van der Linden which you get buy at The PSP Project

FTU Scrapkit "Starr Roller" by Kristen at Toxic Desirez

KBH_2012_Mask33 by Kaci. Find it on CreativeMisfitsCreations

Font: Admiration Pains

Plugins used:

Eye Candy 4000 - Gradient Glow

Xero - Radiance

Open a new image: 700x700.

Open Kristin - Starr Roller - Paper 10.

Copy/Paste as New Layer

Layers - Load/Save Mask - Load Mask From Disk

Find KBH_2012_Mask33 and hit Load

Right Click on mask layer, Merge Group

Open Kristin - Starr Roller - Splatter

Copy/Paste as new layer

Move it up toward the top of the mask.

Open Kristin - Starr Roller - Wordart

Copy/Paste as New Layer

Effects - Plugins - Eye Candy 4000 with these settings:

Glow Width: 3.00

Soft Corners: 25

Overall Opacity: 100

Color: White

I added a second color stop (slider) and placed it around the center.

Open Kristin - Starr Roller - Frame 2

Copy/Paste as New Layer

Selection Tool - Magic Wand:

Tolerance: 20

Feather: 0

Anti-Alias Checked

Selections - Modify - Expand - 3

Open Kristin - Starr Roller - Paper 7

Copy/Paste as New Layer Under the frame

Selections - Invert - Delete

Deselect

Add a drop shadow to the frame:

V&H - 0

Opacity: 75

Blur: 3

Color: Black

Open Kristin - Starr Roller - Silhouette

Copy/Paste as new layer

Move to the right with the skates lining up with the bottom of the mask

Drop Shadow - Same as above

Open Kristin - Starr Roller - Skate

Copy/Paste as New Layer

Image - Resize - 50% (Make sure Resize all layers is unchecked)

Image - Flip Horizontal

Drop Shadow - Same as above

Move to the bottom right corner

Open Kristin - Starr Roller - Star 2

Copy/Paste as new layer

Image - Resize - 50%

Drop Shadow - Same as above

Move to the left side of frame and place near the bottom left point (not on the point, above it)

Open Kristin - Starr Roller - Star 1

Copy/Paste as New Layer

Image - Resize - 50%

Drop Shadow

Move to the bottom left so it's just over star 2

Open Kristin - Starr Roller - Winged Star

Copy/Paste as new layer

Resize - 50%

Drop Shadow

Move over the bottom left corner of frame (the bottoms of the other stars should be under this)

Open Kristin - Starr Roller - Butterfly

Copy/Paste as new layer

Resize - 50%

Image - Free Rotate - Rotate Left 10 degrees - All Layers Unchecked

Drop Shadow

Place toward the top of the frame (See my tag)

Open Kristin - Starr Roller - Cupcake

Copy/Paste as new layer

Resize - 50%

Drop Shadow

Place at bottom center of tag

Copy/Paste your tube as a new layer

Position the way you like

Resize if needed

Effects - Plugins - Xero - Radiance

Strangeness: 192

Charm: 139

Truth: 102

Beauty: 211

Add drop Shadow - Same as above

Crop/Resize your tag

Add your name and copyright info!
